68k-MBC 68008 Project: https://hackaday.io/project/177988-68k-mbc-a-3-ics-68008-homebrew-computer
The 68000, formerly the flagship for "the big boys". Built in Macintosh, Amiga, Atari - in every nasty shit of that time - and finally, who doesn't know Capcon? ;)
While Intel with the 8086 didn't really know how to deal with 16 bit (address space was 64K), the 68K already executed 32 bit code - anno 1980!!!
The 68008 Project is about the "little brother" with only 8 bit wide data bus and narrower address bus. Well, you have to like a PIC next to a 68K, just like a Mega next to a Z80 or 6502. ;)
Have fun :)
RC6502 is a modular system around the CPU 6502 inspired by the RC2014 (Z80) platform.
RC6502 "Apple-1 Replica" Projekt: https://github.com/tebl/RC6502-Apple-1-Replica
The author of this project calls it "Apple-1 Replica" because it was originally constructed by an "Apple fan" and the Apple just had a 6502 CPU ... like the PET ;)
Basically it is a RC6502 SBC of the RC6502 series based on RC2014 and Z80 MBC with a Nano instead of a Mega.
The 6502 is actually a must-have in the collection of anyone of the Apple or PET Generation.
